The suite at Shelton-Lea was absolutely mind-blowing! From the moment we walked in, we were amazed by the beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The little touches like complimentary port and chocolates, bath salts for the spa, and big fluffy towels made us feel super pampered. We loved coming back to fresh made pikelets with strawberry jam and cream, and the recommendations for local eateries were spot on. The cooked breakfasts in our own dining area were simply jaw-dropping, with the sun streaming in through the window. The privacy and kitchenette in our suite were a huge plus, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The overall experience was simply amazing!

We stayed at this charming cottage for a night and it exceeded our expectations. The hosts, Jenny and Paul, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The family suite was beautifully decorated, cozy, and had all the necessary amenities. Stocked with fresh fruit, cereals, bread, beverages, and more. Jenny and Paul went above and beyond by not only storing our luggage but also driving us to the train station. Additionally, their restaurant recommendation for "PINS" across the street was superb. Thank you, Jenny and Paul, for such a delightful stay!
Can recommend this hotel.

Beautifully appointed with a comfy bed and warm blankets. Ensuite bathroom had all I needed. Separate lounge/dining area with an electric fire, small fridge, and daily breakfast. Gorgeous garden and excellent location.
Only one TV in the bedroom, what a risk, I might fall asleep while watching a show! So thrilling.

During our romantic escape, we were delighted by the charming country cottage. It had a cozy and rustic feel that added to the overall ambiance. The hosts were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We particularly loved the location, as it was conveniently close to a picturesque walking trail and there was a fantastic restaurant nearby. the homemade treats left for us in the room were a delightful surprise.
While the cottage was charming, the bed was a bit smaller than what we're used to. However, this did not greatly impact the overall comfort of our stay.
